The business idea behind Pilot Cottage came about during a search for a holiday home in Cornwall, when Estate Agents sent details of two different 'Pilot Cottages' on the same day!
Pilot Cottage founder Michael Howes realised that the maritime idea of providing critical navigational support at key stages of a voyage was a metaphor for what he had in mind for his new business: providing hands-on, practical help just when it is needed!
